Ballroom Dance

Ballroom dancing has been around for many years. It comprises of Waltz, Quickstep, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz and Tango, all of which are easy to learn and fun to do.

Waltz: As simple as 1-2-3. Easy to learn and lovely to dance.

Viennese Waltz: Viennese The oldest of all the ballroom dances. (warning – you could possibly get giddy!).

Quickstep: The clue is in the name – quick and lots of steps.

Tango: Sharp as a razor, crisp as a pringle and full of passion.

Foxtrot: Once you can dance it, you will love it (it’s Len’s favourite dance).

Latin American Dance

Latin American dance originated from South America and is popular to do because of the infectious pulsating music. The Latin dances comprise of the Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Salsa, Paso Doble and Jive.

Cha Cha Cha: Hip Hip Hooray – rhythmic and fun.

Rumba: The only slow Latin dance – not frantic but romantic!

Jive: Get ready to rock and roll.

Samba: The Brazilian carnival dance.

Paso Doble: The dance of the bullfight, Ole!

Salsa: Hot and spicy, the Latin Club Dance.
